From triumph to tragedy
The A6M Zero was the pride of the Imperial Japanese Navy. It would become the catalyst for bringing the USA into World War II in December 1941, though is perhaps best known for its later ‘kamikaze’ missions. With its excellent manoeuvrability and range, it was a formidable opponent for the Allies during the first half of the war. This realistic design of the Zero by Peter Blackert joins our fleet of aircraft today.
