When you hear the name Porsche, pretty much the first silhouette that probably springs to mind is the 911. This sports car, with its unmistakable appearance, is the epitome of the brand from Stuttgart and is still extremely successful.

The 911 was produced from 1963 to 1989. The Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS, presented at the Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris in 1972, occupies a special position. The distinctive external feature is the rear spoiler, often referred to as a ducktail.

Originally, the car was designed to obtain a licence for racing (homologation). But the special model became hugely popular and is now a sought-after collector’s model.
