Description
Hammerhead sharks differ from other fish in a number of ways. Their unusual head shape enables them to find stingrays and skates: firstly, to find them via sensors located in their head and secondly, to pin them to the seafloor. Rather than lay eggs, female hammerheads also give birth to live young.
