Description
The LEGO Technic ‘Auto Chassis’ kit no. 8860 originates from the days before cars had roofs. Just kidding; of course there were roofs in 1980, but the unobstructed view into the interior of the car and its functions in this model was simply sensational and had enormous play value.
Brickworms designer Ralf was also impressed and still is today, so he was inspired to build a mini auto chassis. He does have a good heart, after all, and minifigures want to be allowed to sit in such a vehicle.
