Renault 4 – kit from LEGO® bricks

Description

The small French car, called the R4 for short, was a great international success. Over eight million copies rolled off the line before production was stopped after more than 30 years in 1992.

It wasn’t just its compact design that won people over. The ‘fifth door’, which was revolutionary at the time, and the front-wheel drive, which was not yet so widespread, were also enthusiastically received. Reasonably priced, practical, versatile, robust and economical in comparison – for a long time, the zippy French car was the ideal and often preferred vehicle amongst young people, many of whom (long since retired) remember the Renault 4 as the first car they ever owned.
