Tesla Cybertruck mini – kit from LEGO® bricks

A revolution on four wheels is what the recently launched “Cybertruck” pickup from Tesla can be confidently called. Its futuristic appearance is fascinating to some; others are thrilled that it’s a really fast electric vehicle with remarkable range. And still others have already pre-ordered a copy to be on the safe side, even though production is only set to start in two years from now.

Electric car manufacturer Tesla is said to have received over 250,000 Cybertruck orders within a few weeks. The deposit is only $100; you can worry about the remaining 40,000 bucks (currently around €36,000 for the basic version) later.

The avant-garde vehicle apparently comes across well, above all in the US, where pickups are traditionally popular. In addition to the battery range of 250 to 500 miles, its corrosion-resistant and impact-resistant chassis is convincing. The Tesla Cybertruck can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and thus accelerate faster than a Porsche 911.

Having introduced a model of the Cybertruck in 1/20th scale developed by Peter Blackert at the beginning of 2020, which quickly turned into our bestselling kit, a number of interested parties approached us to request a smaller, cheaper model.

We have now managed to put together a model in minifigure scale. Like Peter’s large model, this little brother’s frunk and boot can be opened, allowing you to store luggage, tools and other knickknacks inside if you so wish. Brickworm Ralf even managed to install a suspension system, allowing a comfortable drive. In this set, you will find the original, new LEGO® bricks required to build the truck as well as a figure and the building instructions.
